Sweet & Spicy Roasted Brussels

- 1 lbs. Brussels sprouts
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 red apple such as Honeycrisp
- 1 red onion
- 2 oz. fresh parmesan shaved
- Sea salt + freshly ground black pepper
- Avocado oil
- 1 tbsp honey mixed with 1/4 tsp cayenne or hot honey
- Directions:
Chop Brussels, bacon, apple and onion to an equal size, about 1 inch
Drizzle with avocado oil, salt, and generous pepper
Roast at 400 for 20 minutes, take out and toss, and roast another 10-15 minutes until deeply browned and caramelized
Top with shaved parmesan, hot honey, and additional salt + pepper if needed
